- R14S4 is our classic, straight fitting button-through shirt with one left-chest patch pocket. This garment has been specifically designed to over-dye with natural colouring. For this second release we have commissioned Tokushima based Somesho. Using only natural pigment from local botanicals, Somesho dye each garment individually. All water used in this process comes from the nearby stream. This version has been dyed twice in Madder Root and Iron and three times in Persimmon and Iron. This has resulted in a deeper colour, very dry handle and more resistance to fading caused by UV.
- Cloth
- 70% cotton / 30% linen parachute cloth woven on a wooden shuttle loom in Shizuoka, Japan. Hand dyed with natural pigment — Kakishibu and Tetsu a.k.a. Persimmon and Iron and Akane and Tetsu a.k.a. Madder Root and Iron.
- Hardware
- 15mm corozo buttons.
