100% cotton. Yarn-dyed and woven at high density with varied yarn thicknesses to create fine, ribbed wales. Lightweight with a dry handle, the cloth develops a crisp, papery texture with washing and wear. Naturally stiff, it lifts from the skin to allow breathability, and is best enjoyed in the summer months. Woven for MAN–TLE in Shizouka, Japan.
